Our Story
Born from a Love of Animals in El Paso
My Pet Motel was founded right here in El Paso, TX by a lifelong animal lover who couldn't find a boarding facility she truly trusted. After years of worrying every time she left town, she decided to build the resort she always wished existed — one where El Paso pets are treated like family, not inventory.
Since opening our doors, we've cared for dogs and cats across El Paso — from West El Paso and the Upper Valley to Northeast and Central El Paso. Our facility has grown, our team has expanded, and our standards have only gotten higher — but our mission has never changed: to give every pet a safe, comfortable, and joyful experience while their family is away
Our Values
What We Stand For
Safety First
Every pet is assessed before joining group play. Our facility is secured, monitored, and designed to prevent accidents.
Genuine Care
We hire people who love animals — not just people who need a job. Our team treats every pet as their own.
Total Transparency
Daily photo updates, open facility tours, and honest communication. You'll never wonder how your pet is doing.
Continuous Learning
Our staff completes ongoing training in animal behavior, first aid, and enrichment techniques.
Our Team
People Who Love Pets
Every member of our team was hired for one reason above all others: they genuinely love animals. Our staff includes certified pet first-aid responders, professional groomers, and experienced animal behaviorists — all united by a passion for exceptional pet care.
We maintain low staff-to-pet ratios so every animal gets real attention, not just supervision. When you drop off your pet at My Pet Motel, you're leaving them with people who will miss them when they go home.
